Hermitage Golf Course is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The Hermitage has two championship 18-hole golf courses, they are The Generals Retreat and The Presidents Reserve.
The Presidents Reserve was the second of the two courses having opened in 2001. The course was designed by Dennis Griffiths. The Generals Retreat opened 15 years earlier (1986) and was designed by Roger Baird.
Presidents Reserve has a special bonus, Blackface sheep herded by border collies can be seen on the course adding a touch of Scotland. Watch the video to hear and see more about them.

I have never played off better fairways. From the tips it's a monster. Great course to test your skills, you'll hit every club in your bag. Only course I've ever played with a 600+ yard par 5 on both nines. You need your A game to shoot well here.
